Our new favourite shopping bag! The Hiroshima Rice Bag Tote is actually made from repurposed Japanese rice bags, which are super tough.
Made by Hiroshima Bag company, Kataoka Shoten from thick recycled layered paper, these bags can hold over 10kgs!
Super sturdy and hard wearing.
Winner of the Tokyo LIFE×DESIGN Best Sustainability Award.
The deep gusset makes them ideal shopping bags as they can sit flag.
They can also be used as an everyday tote, the press stud at the top helps keep everything secure.

We dispatch all orders within 2 business days via Australia Post. For extra large items, we may use a courier and will communicate with you about the options.

Standard shipping costs (Australia):
- $0- $100 order: $10
- $100-$200 order: $20
- $200+ order: FREE SHIPPING
Standard Post takes 3-8 days to arrive to Australian destinations.
Express Post takes 1-2 days, unless there are delays due to peak postal times (ie Christmas).
You will be notified of any delays from our end (prior to shipping) as soon as possible.
Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can check the AusPost website for arrival details.
