Japanese Grinding bowl called a Suri-Bachi.
The Suribachi is glazed with a muted mottled brown straw colour with touched of white and blue on the rim. On the inside it has a rough texture applied to the bowl before firing. This creates the rough texture used for grinding.
These bowls are great for making a quick dukkha on your Avo toast. In Japan you often get these in tonkotsu (fried pork cutlet) restaurants where you first grind up sesame seeds before adding a tonkotsu dipping sauce to the bowl. YUM!
You can also use these large bowls as just nice bowls, you dont have to grind into them. Or grind some sesame seeds before adding ramen into the bowl!

Standard Post takes 3-8 days to arrive to Australian destinations.
Express Post takes 1-2 days, unless there are delays due to peak postal times (ie Christmas).
You will be notified of any delays from our end (prior to shipping) as soon as possible.
Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can check the AusPost website for arrival details.
