Japanese Vintage Ceramic Bowl from Oribe, Japan.
It features the traditional Oribe green and cream glaze with brown decoration.
This bowl is the perfect size for miso soup, rice, desserts, and cereal.
This type of shorter tea bowl called a Hiragata Chawan is traditionally used in summer as the shallower depth allows the tea to cool more quickly.
There is a stamped signature on the base.
Vintage ceramics are sold as is, these are hand made items, there will be the occasional variations in form, tone and colour. We ensure they are in good condition and of good useable quality.
Measures: 14.5cm across x 5.5cm high.

We dispatch all orders within 2 business days via Australia Post. For extra large items, we may use a courier and will communicate with you about the options.
Standard shipping costs (Australia):

- $100-$200 order: $20
- $200+ order: FREE SHIPPING
Standard Post takes 3-8 days to arrive to Australian destinations.
Express Post takes 1-2 days, unless there are delays due to peak postal times (ie Christmas).
You will be notified of any delays from our end (prior to shipping) as soon as possible.
Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can check the AusPost website for arrival details.
