Fabulous vintage wooden fish shaped wooden tray.
Depicting a Sea Bream with expressive face, there is a scene carved in the middle section of the tray showing a tori gate in the foreground and landscape with a traditional minka farmhouse in the distance.
Images of Sea bream are often used in festivals and celebrations in Japan as a sign of good luck.
Its a lightweight tray, most likely made from sugi wood, and then lacquered. The laquer is worn due to use but this adds to the charm.
Found many years ago in the Osaka, Kansai area.
Measures 34cm Long x 23cm wide.

Standard Post takes 3-8 days to arrive to Australian destinations.
Express Post takes 1-2 days, unless there are delays due to peak postal times (ie Christmas).

Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can check the AusPost website for arrival details.
